The European project FENIX is organized by ERTICO-ITS.
The objectives are:
- Introduce digitalization for the Multimodal Goods Transport in Europe.
- Create a federated network of information platforms for the Multimodal Goods Transport.
The Smart Multimodal Information Platform (SMIP) is a sub-project of the FENIX project.
The objectives are:
- DIGITALIZATION of the Multimodal Goods Transport Operations process.
- Real time monitoring of the goods transport (progress, ETA).
- Introduction of information sharing between the actors in the supply chain.
